Zone Summary


Date and Time Zone
Here you can choose any number of display formats to display the date and time. The background can be a solid color or image. File types supported are: JPEG, TIFF, PSD, PNG, Targa, PICT, or an image sequence. Two date and time zones can be added to a single project. * This zone also recognizes files with alpha channels.

 

Image Zone
Here you can add any single image, company logo, or advertisement. With the addition of the dynamic option, you can now update the selected image remotely through a shared folder across a network or a cloud based service without disrupting the sign. You can also preserve the native aspect ratio of the image file by enabling that option. Ten image zones can be added to any one project. File types supported are: JPEG, TIFF, PSD, PNG, Targa, or PICT.  This zone also recognizes files with alpha channels.


RSS Ticker Zone
Here you can add and schedule specific RSS feeds via a playlist (most feed types accepted) and have it scroll across the display. You can also add in custom information instead of a URL. Add in a background color or image for more style. The style, size, and color of the font can also be adjusted. You can also choose from over 100 splitter images or add your own. Two RSS Ticker zones can be added to a single project.

 

RSS Bulletin Zone
Allows a user to add RSS feeds to be displayed as blocks of text information, instead of the tradition RSS ticker style. A background color or image can be added as well. The style, size, and color of the font can be adjusted as well.  Two RSS Bulletin zones can be added to a single project.

 

Slideshow Zone
Here you can add pictures, advertisements, or different image sequences. Captions can also be added to each of the images. This zone is compatible with dynamic playlists allowing you to update images remotely via shared network or cloud folders. You can also choose from 10 different transitions. File types supported are: JPEG, TIFF, PSD, PNG, Targa, PICT, and image sequences. Two Slideshow zones can be added to a single project. Zone recognizes
files with alpha channels. 
 

Video Zone
Here you can display a live video feed or a locally stored movie file. This zone is compatible with dynamic playlists allowing you to update images remotely via shared network or cloud folders. Live camera and TV feeds are can be displayed through the Video zone, however this feature is currently in beta. File types supported are: Component video, DV, DVC Pro NTSC, DV PAL, DVC Pro PAL, WMV, H.264, and Photo JPEG. Two video zones can be added to a single project. This zone also recognizes files with alpha channels.
 


Text Zone
This zone allows a user to add blocks of text to a project. The style, size, and color of the font can be adjusted. Also, the user can choose between a color or image background to add extra style to this zone. This zone is capable of being set to dynamic mode allowing users to update the text in a text file and have the changes take effect immediately in the sign. Five Text zones can be added to any one project. This zone also recognizes files with alpha channels.

Twitter Zone
The Twitter zone is for displaying live tweets containing specific search queries. They can be either specific words or hashtags, i.e. #digitalsignage. Once the query is entered, the zone will display real-time tweets containing the Twitter user's name, avatar, time of tweet, and the tweet itself. This zone offers users the ability to have an audience engage directly with the sign. The zone has multiple display modes including live tweets scrolled continuously through the zone or having tweets appear in real-time in the order tweeted. Tweets can also be displayed vertically or horizontally. A background image or solid color can be added to the Twitter zone as well.
 


Web Zone (Beta)
The web zone allows users to include websites within their project.. The zone also has a playlist feature allowing multiple websites to be displayed through the zone much like a slideshow. Through the playlist users can schedule the various websites through the scheduler and control the duration and repeat options.
